(vulg. பேய்) I. v. t. strew, scatter, துளி; 2. discharge (as urine), சிறுநீர் விடு; 3. put, place, lay, போடு; 4. v. i. rain, fall (as dew or hail) பொழி. சிறுநீர் பெய்ய, to pass urine. பனி பெய்கிறது, the dew falls. மழை பெய்கிறது, it rains. பெய்கலம், any vessel. பெய்துரை, preface, introduction, பாயிரம். பெய்விக்க, to cause to rain. பெய்வு, v. n. emission, discharge etc.
