முதலடியும் நான்காமடியும் எழுத்துக்குறைந்து நடுவிரண்டடியும் எழுத்துமிக்கு நாலடியுஞ் சீர் ஓத்துவருவது. (யாப். வி. பக். 481.) A stanza of four lines of equal cīr in which the first and the last lines have less number of letters than the other two lines;
