பதிஞானம் பாசஞானங்களின் வேறுபட்ட ஆன்மசொருப ஞானம். தருமிது பசுஞானம் பின் சிவஞானஞ் தனக்குமேலாம் (சிலசி.4, 2). 1. Knowledge of the real nature of the soul, dist. fr. pati-āṉam, and pāca -āṉam; சிற்றறிவு. 2. Limited knowledge of the soul as acquired by the senses; சித்துருவாய் அசித்தோடு கலந்து கிடக்கும் ஆன்மநிலை. (W.) 3. The condition of the soul, in which its intelligence is obscured by its connection with matter;
