கொண்டிப்பசுவுக்குத் தடி கட்டுதல். 1. To suspend a piece of wood from the neck of an unruly cow so that the block may act as a drag and thus prevent the animal from straying away; மணம்புரிவித்துப் பந்தப்படுத்துதல். Colloq. 2. Lit., to bind or yoke, fig., to unite a person in marriage that he may thereafter be obliged to lead a steady life;
