ஆசனம் ஒன்பதனுள் இரண்டு முழங்கையும் வயிற்றிலே பட ஊன்றிக் கால்களை நிமிரவிட்டுத் தலைநிமிர்த்து நிற்கும் ஆசனவகை. (தத்துவப்.107, உரை.) Peacock-posture which consists in standing upon bent hands, the navel resting on both the elbows, the legs being stretched horizontally behind and the head uplifted, one of nine ācaṉam, q.v.;
