தன்தலையை வெட்டி அதனை விரும்பிய தம்பிகையிற் கொடுத்து வேண்டியபொருளைப் பெறுமாறு தன்னிடம் இரந்த புலவனுக்குத் தன் வாளையீந்த ஒரு பெருவள்ளல். (புறநா. 164.)
