, [uṟiñcu] கிறேன், உறிஞ்சினேன், வே ன், உறிஞ்ச, ''v. a.'' To sip, suck up, draw into the mouth (as hot liquids or as from spoons, &c.), வாய்க்குள்ளிழுக்க. 2. To snuff up, sniff, inhale forcibly through the nose, ஆக்கிராணிக்க. 3. ''(fig.)'' To imbibe, absorb as a spunge, as the earth does rain, &c., உள்ளேயிழுக்க. நன்குறிஞ்சிப்பேய்த்தனஞ்சுவைத்தார். Sucking well he has fed on the breast of a female vampire. (வேங்கட.) இந்த மருந்துபுண்ணிற்கள்ளத்தையுறிஞ்சியெடுத்துப் போடும். This medicament will absorb the noxious humors.
