ஒரு செய்யுளின் முன்னிரண்டடி மேல்வரியாகவும் பின்னிரண்டடி கீழ்வரியாகவும் எழுதி அவ்விரண்டு வரியின் எழுத்துக்களையும் கோமூத்திர ரேகைபோல் மாறிமாறிப் படிக்க அச்செய்யுளாகும்படி அமைத்துப் பாடுஞ் சித்திரகவி (தண்டி. 95.) Verse of two lines composed in such a way that the 1st letter of the 1st, the 2nd of the 2nd, the 3rd of the 1st, the 4th of the 2nd, etc., when read together form the 1st line and the 1st of புல்வகை.
