(caus. of கலங்கு) stir, mix, agitate, குழப்பு; 2. perturb, disconcert, disquiet, trouble, tease, கலங்கச்செய்; 3. frighten, intimidate, அஞ்சுவி; 4. distract, bewilder, திகைக் கச்செய். கலக்கிக்குடிக்க, to drink after stirring up the sediment. கலக்கிவிட, to stir up, to cause an uproar, to threaten. வயிற்றைக்கலக்க, to be inclined to go to stool, to be extremely perplexed.

To stir, mix, mix up liquids (not generally by shaking), agitate, per turb, ruffle, stir, shake, mix, &c., so as to make the liquid or matter all alike or equal in consistence, to puddle, குழப்ப, 2. To dis concert, discompose, disturb, disquiet, con fuse, confound, perplex, embarrass, em broil, cause disturbance, tumultuate, கலங்கச் செய்ய. 3. To frighten, intimidate, distress, grieve, depress, abash, agitate, dismay, dishearten, dispirit, daunt, அஞ்சுவிக்க. 4. To bewilder, distract, திகைக்கச்செய்ய. குளத்தைக்கலக்கிப்பருந்துக்கிரைகொடுக்கவோ..... Why stir up tank, and give its fish to the hawks? i.e. why take pains to ruin a poor man for the sake of enriching others, or why labor and not liik after the profit.
