To fear, dread, be aghast, be panic-struck, be startled, be at one's wit's end, be shocked, திகிலுற. 4. To be concerned, to regret deeply, to be in great suspense, கவலைப்பட. 5. (இராமா.) To sound, roar, ஒலிக்க. ஏங்கித்திரியேல். Do not yield to anguish and sorrow. (ஆத்தி.) ஏங்கினாற்போலேசீவன்போயிற்று. He was so overcome with fear (grief, &c.) that he instantly died.
