n. பொறிக்குள் சிக்கவைக்க உதவும் பொருள், காட்டுத்தாராக்களைப் பழகிய தாராக்களின் துணையால் செலுத்திச் சிக்கவைக்கும் வலை, புட்குலங்களை அகப்படுத்த உடந்தையாயிருக்கும் பறவை, பார்வை மிருப்ம், ஏமாற்றுக்காரனுக்கு உடந்தையாய் இருப்பவர், உள்ளாள், கையாள், தூண்டிற்பொருள், மருட்டுக்கருவி, (வினை) வசப்படுத்திப்பிடி, பொறியுள் ஏய்த்துச்செலுத்து, பழக்கிய பறவையுதவியால் காட்டுத்தாராவை வலையுட்படுத்து மருட்டிச் சிக்கவை.

A person employed by officers of justice, or parties exposed to injury, to induce a suspected person to commit an offense under circumstances that will lead to his detection.
