பூனையின் அடி. (யாழ். அக.) 1. Cat's paw; பெருவிரல் முதலிய மூன்று விரல்களின் நுனிகளால் எடுக்குமளவு. அந்தச் சூர்ணத்தில் வெருகடித் தூள் உட்கொள்ளவேண்டும். (W.) 2. A large pinch, as much as can be taken up with tips of thumb and two fingers;
