முதனாள் கோசலமும் இரண்டாநாள் கோமயமும் மூன்றாநாள் பாலும், நாலாநாள் தயிரும், ஐந்தாநாள் நெய்யும் ஆறாநாள் தருப்பைநீரும் உண்டு அனுட்டிக்கும் ஒரு விரதம். (சங். அக.) A fast in which the six articles, viz., cow's urine, cow-dung, milk, curds, ghee and water consecrated with quitch grass, are taken, one of each of six consecutive days;
