இரவில், பார்ப்பனி யொருத்தியின் வீட்டுக் கதவைத் தட்டிப்போந்த குற்றத்திற்காகத் தன் கை குறைத்து, அக்கைக்குப் பிரதியாகப் பொற்கை பூண்ட பாண்டியவேந்தன். (தொல். பொ. 89, இளம்பூ.)
