[tāppicai ] --தாப்பிசைப்பொருள் கோள், ''s.'' (''a compound of'' தாம்பு and இசை.) One of the eight methods of constructing verse, by which a word in the middle is connected both with the end and begin ning, from the idea of a swing--as உ ண்ணாமையுள்ளதுயிர்நிலை ஊனுண்ண அண்ணாத்தல் செய்யாதளறு, if not eaten, the bodies of some animals will retain their lives. The hell that swallows a flesh eater will never open its mouth to let him out. Here ஊன், is the connecting word, ஓர்பொருள்கோள்.
