III. v. t. stick in, insert, tuck in செருகு; 2. fix the eyes (as in fainting or death); v. i. gripe in the bowels. வயிற்றில் சொருகிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது, it gripes in the belly. வைக்கோல் சொருக, to repair, to thatch, to tuck in straw. சொருகலான கண், eyes sunk deep in the head. சொருகிக் கொள்ள, to stick a thing into the girdle, pocket, hair etc; to insert; 2. to be inserted, to entangle one's self. சொருகி வைக்க, -ப்போட, to stick any thing in the roof etc. சொருகு கொண்டை, woman's hair twisted round and tucked in. சொருகு தோவத்தி, a cloth going twice round the waist and tucked in. கண்ணைச் சொருகுதல், -சொருகல், involuntary closing of the eyes through sleep or disease. சொருகல், v. n. sticking in the bowels, as indigestible food, generally among children.
