, [ācīrvti] க்கிறேன், த்தேன், ப்பேன், க்க, ''v. a.'' To bless, pronounce benedictions; when by brahmans, they spread open the left hand, (no others bless with this form) உயர்ந்தோனிழிந்தோனுக்காசிகூற.--''Note.'' The person who blesses is supposed to have the power of bestowing good or of secur ing it by his merit.
