, [arāvu] கிறேன், அராவினேன், வேன், அராவ, ''v. a. [vul.]'' To file, polish, அழுத்த. 2. To grate as in the friction of two pieces of metal, to rub, stroke, &c., உராஞ்ச. 3. To revolve a thing in the mind, ruminate, சிந்திக்க. 4. ''v. n.'' To use sarcasm, jeers, &c. reciprocally, to be in a state of collision, to clash, disagree, jar, மிண்ட.--''Note.'' The root of this word may also be அரா, and ''[prov.]'' அராத்து.
