n. உறிஞ்சீடு, மோப்பம்பிடிப்பு, முகர்ந்துபார்த்தல், மூக்குறிஞ்சும் ஒலி, மூக்கியல் தொனி, மூக்கியல் தொனிக்குரல், மூக்கியல் பேச்சு, (வினை.) மூக்குறிஞ்சு, மோப்பம் பிடி, மூக்குறிஞ்சுவது போன்ற ஒலி எழுப்பு, மூக்கினாற்பேசு, மூக்கினுள்ளாக முனகு, நீர்க்கோப்புக் கொண்டவரைப் போலப் பேசு.

Snuf"fle, v. i. [imp. & p. p. Snuffled(); p. pr. & vb. n. Snuffling.] Etym: [Freq. of snuff, v.i.; akin to LG. snuffeln, G. schnüffeln, D. snuffeln, Dan. snövle. Cf. Sniffle.] Defn: To speak through the nose; to breathe through the nose when it is obstructed, so as to make a broken sound. One clad in purple Eats, and recites some lamentable rhyme . . .
