n. பீற்றுகுழல், விசைப்பீற்று மருந்தூசி, தோட்ட விசைக் குத்து ஊசி, (வினை.) பீற்றுகுழலால் நீரிறை, நீர்பீற்று, விசைப்பீற்று மருந்து குத்திச் செலுத்து, தாவரத்திற்கு விசைபீற்று மருந்துநீர் குத்திச் செலுத்து, நீர்த்தாரையுள் செலுத்தி அலம்பு.

Syr"inge, n. Etym: [F. seringue (cf. Pr. siringua, Sp. jeringa, It. sciringa, scilinga), fg. Gr. svar to sound, and E. swarum. Cf. Syringa.] Defn: A kind of small hand-pump for throwing a stream of liquid, or for purposes of aspiration. It consists of a small cylindrical barrel and piston, or a bulb of soft elastic material, with or without valves, and with a nozzle which is sometimes at the end of a flexible tube; -- used for injecting animal bodies, cleansing wounds, etc. Garden syringe. To wash and clean by injection from a syringe.
