n. துடைப்புத்துண்டு, கப்பல் துணித்துடைப்பம், ஒத்துபட்டை, அறுவை மருத்துவத்தில் பயன்படும் உறிஞ்சு பஞ்சுறை, நோய் நுண்ம ஆய்வெடுப்புக் கசவு நீர்மம், (இழி.) கப்பல் அலுவலாளரின் தோளணிக்கச்சை, அருவருக்கத்தக்க ஆள், (வினை.) துடைப்புத் துண்டால் துடை, ஒத்து பட்டையால் ஒத்தியெடு.

A bit of sponge, cloth, or the like, fastened to a handle, for cleansing the mouth of a sick person, applying medicaments to deep- seated parts, etc. 3. (Naut.) Defn: An epaulet. [Sailor's Slang] Marryat. 4. A cod, or pod, as of beans or pease. [Obs.] Bailey. 5. A sponge, or other suitable substance, attached to a long rod or handle, for cleaning the bore of a firearm.
