-1 a. நீர்மத்தில் தோய்ந்த, நீர்மத்தில் செறிவுற்றுறிய, முட்ட நனைவுற்ற, திண்பசைவான, ரொட்டி வகையில் பிசைந்த மாப்போன்ற, கனமான, ஈரமான, குடியிலுன்றிய தோற்றமுடைய, மட்டியான, மந்தமான, (வினை.) நீர்மத்தில் தோய், முற்றிலும் நனை, ரொட்டி வகையில் மாப்போன்றதாக்கு, கனமானத-2 v. 'சீத்' என்பதன் பழைய முடிவெச்ச வழக்கு.
