Pin"tos, n. pl.; sing. Pinto (. Etym: [Sp., painted, mottled.] (Eyhnol.) Defn: A mountain tribe of Mexican Indians living near Acapulco. They are remarkable for having the dark skin of the face irregularly spotted with white. Called also speckled Indians.
