Jig"ger, n. Etym: [A corrupt. of chigre.] (Zoöl.) Defn: A species of flea (Sarcopsylla, or Pulex, penetrans), which burrows beneath the skin. See Chigoe. Jig"ger, n. Etym: [See Jig, n. & v.] 1.
