(சட்.) சான்றாவணம், சான்றாக நீதிமன்றத்தில் கொண்டுவைத்துக் காட்டப்படும் பொருள், பொருட்காட்சியிலுள்ள காட்சிப்பொருள், பகட்டுக்காட்சி, ஆரவாரப்பகட்டு, (வினை) பொருட்காட்சியில் வை, பொதுவிடத்தில் காட்சிக்கு வை, ஆய்வுக்காக முன் வை, திறந்துகாட்டு, பகட்டாக காட்டு, பண்பினை எடுத்துக்காட்டு, இயல்பினைத் தௌதவாகக் காட்டு, குறித்துக்காட்டு.

To hold forth or present to view; to produce publicly, for inspection; to show, especially in order to attract notice to what is interesting; to display; as, to exhibit commodities in a warehouse, a picture in a gallery.
