Ca*poch", n.; pl. Capoches. Etym: [Cf. Sp. capucho, It. cappucio, F. Capuce, capuchon, LL. caputium, fr. capa cloak. See Cap.] Defn: A hood; especialy, the hood attached to the gown of a monk.
