n. சிறுபை, சட்டை வௌதப்பை, போர்வீரர் துப்பாக்கி மருந்துப்பை, கங்காரு போன்ற விலங்குகளின் மதலைப்பை, குரங்கின் கன்னப்பை, (தாவ.) பை போன்ற குழிவு, விரையுறை, (வினை.) பையிற் போடு, உடைமையாக்கிக் கொள், திருட்டுத்தனமாக எடுத்துக்கொள், உடையின் பாகத்தைப் பைபோலத் தொங்கவிடு, பைபோல் தொங்கு.

A small bag; usually, a leathern bag; as, a pouch for money; a shot pouch; a mail pouch, etc. 2. That which is shaped like, or used as, a pouch; as: (a) A protuberant belly; a paunch; -- so called in ridicule. (b) (Zoöl.) A sac or bag for carrying food or young; as, the cheek pouches of certain rodents, and the pouch of marsupials. (c) (Med.) A cyst or sac containing fluid. S. Sharp. (d) (Bot.)
