Wive, v. i. [imp. & p. p. Wived; p. pr. & vb. n. Wiving.] Etym: [AS. wifian, gewifian. See Wite.] Defn: To marry, as a man; to take a wife. Wherefore we pray you hastily to wive. Chaucer.
