-1 n. பாடும் புள்ளிசைப்பொலி, நீள் அதிர்குரல் பண்ணிசைப்பு, (வினை.) பாடும் புள் வகையில் நீளதிர் குரல் இசைப்பொலியுடன் முரலு, நீளதிர் குரல் எடுத்து இசை, தனி நீளதிர் குரலில் பாடு, முரலு, மென்குரலில் பாடு, புள்ளிசைப்புக் குரலுடன் பேசு, மெல்லிசைக் குரலுடன் கூறு,-2 n. பிடர்க் கரணை, சேணம் கட்டுவதால் குதிரை முதுகில் ஏற்படும் காழ்ப்புப் புண், உண்ணிக் கழலை, உண்ணியின உயிரினால் குதிரைக்கு ஏற்படும் புண்.
