Trist, v. t. & i. [imp. Triste.] Defn: To trust. [Obs.] Chaucer. Trist, n. Etym: [See Tryst.] 1. Trust. [Obs.] 2. A post, or station, in hunting. [Obs.] Chaucer. 3. A secret meeting, or the place of such meeting; a tryst. See Tryst.
