Triph"y*lite, n. Etym: [Pref. tri- + Gr. (Min.) Defn: A mineral of a grayish-green or bluish color, consisting of the phosphates of iron, manganese, and lithia. Note: A salmon-colored or clove-brown variety containing but little iron is known as lithiophilite.
