Tri`de*cat"y*lene, n. Etym: [Pref. tri-+ Gr. ylene.] (Chem.) Defn: A hydrocarbon, C13H26, of the ethylene series, corresponding to tridecane, and obtained from Burmah petroleum as a light colorless liquid; -- called also tridecylene, and tridecene.
