adv. அங்கிருந்து, அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து, அப்போதிலிருந்து,அதிலிருந்து, அவற்றிலிருந்து. அந்த மெய்க்கோள்களிலிருந்து, என்ற காரணத்தினால்.

Etym: [OE. thenne, thanne, and (with the adverbal -s; see -wards) thennes, thannes (hence thens, now written thence), AS. thanon, thanan, thonan; akin to OHG. dannana, dannan, danan, and G. von dannen, E. that, there.
