stalemate

n. இக்கட்டு நிலை, காயடைப்பு நிலை, சதுரங்க ஆட்டவகையில் அரசுகாய் அடைபடாமலே காய்கள் அசைக்க இடமில்லாதிருக்கும் நிலை, (வினை.) இக்கட்டுநிலைப் படுத்து, சதுரங்க ஆட்டவகையில் காயடைப்பு நிலைக்கு உட்படுத்து.
