n. குந்துகை, குந்துயிருக்கும் நிலை, குட்டையான தடித்த மனிதர், (பெ.) குந்தியிருக்கும் நிலையிலுள்ள, ஆள் வகையில் தடித்துக்குட்டையான, சிறுத்துக் கொழுத்த, (வினை.) தரையில் குந்த, குந்திக்கொண்டிரு, குந்தியிருக்க்ச செய், விலங்குகள் வல் தரையை யொட்டிப் பதுங்கியிரு, (பே-வ) உட்காரு, அமர்.


Squat, n. (Zoöl.) Defn: The angel fish (Squatina angelus Squat, v. i. [imp. & p. p. Squatted; p. pr. & vb. n. Squatting.] Etym: [OE. squatten to crush, OF. esquater, esquatir (cf. It. quatto squat, cowering), perhaps fr. L. ex + coactus, p. p. cogere to drive or urge together. See Cogent, Squash, v. t.] 1. To sit down upon the hams or heels; as, the savages squatted near the fire. 2. To sit close to the ground; to cower; to stoop, or lie close, to escape observation, as a partridge or rabbit. 3.
