Sper`ma*to*go"ni*um, n. Etym: [NL., fr. Gr. (Physiol.) Defn: A primitive seminal cell, occuring in masses in the seminal tubules. It divides into a mass (spermosphere) of small cells (spermoblast), which in turn give rise to spermatozoids.
