secularize

v. மதச்சார்பற்றதாக்கு, அரசியல்-ஒழுக்கம்- கல்வி ஆகியவற்றைச் சமயச்சார்பற்றதாக்கு, உடமை வகையில் சமயஞ் சாராப் பொதுத்துறைக்கு மாற்று, சமய உடைமைவகையில் உலகியற் காரியங்களுக்குப் பயன்படுத்து, மடத்துத்துறவி வகையில் நிலையாகவா அப்பொழுதைக்கோ புறநிலை வாழ்வு வாழ்வி.
