a. நல்லறிவு நிலையுடைய, அறிவுமைதி வாய்ந்த, அறிவுபேதியாத, பைத்தியமல்லாத, கருத்துக்கள் வகையில் நிதானமான, புத்தியுள்ள.
Sane, a. Etym: [L. sanus; cf. Gr. Sound, a.] 1. Being in a healthy condition; not deranged; acting rationally; -- said of the mind. 2. Mentally sound; possessing a rational mind; having the mental faculties in such condition as to be able to anticipate and judge of the effect of one's actions in an ordinary maner; -- said of persons.
