-1 n. பறவைப் பொதும்பர், கோழிக்கூண்டு, (வினை) பறவைகள் வகையில் தூங்கு, ஆள் வகையில் சிறு துயில் கொள்ளு, உறங்குவதற்கான இடமளி, இரவில் தங்கியிரு, பறவை போல் உறங்கு.-2 n. வலிய கடற்சுழி.
