n. கோமாளித்தனமான தோற்றமுடையவர், தனிப்போக்குடையவர், நையாண்டி செய்யும் பழக்கமுடையவர், விளையாட்டு வினாவிடை, நேர்முகத் தேர்வு, குமைத்தல்,நையாண்டி செய்தல். (வினை) குமை,நையாண்டி செய், ஏளனமாக மதி, புதுமையாகப் பார்,வேடிக்கை காண், விளக்கக் கண்ணாடி மூலம் பார்.

In consequence of this the letters q u i z were chalked by him on all the walls of Dublin, with an effect that won the wager.
