promorphology

Pro`mor*phol"o*gy, n. Etym: [Pref. pro- + morphology.] (Biol.) Defn: Crystallography of organic forms; -- a division of morphology created by Haeckel. It is essentially stereometric, and relates to a mathematical conception of organic forms. See Tectology.
