v. இடவகையில் முன் அமர்த்திக்கொள், உளவகையில் முன் ஈடுபடுத்திக்கொள், பிறவழிச்செல்ல இடமின்றி உளத்தை முழுதும் ஈடுபடுத்திக்கொள், முன்பே தனதாக்கிக் கொள்.

To take possession of before another; as, to preoccupy a country not before held. 2. To prepossess; to engage, occupy, or engross the attention of, beforehand; hence, to prejudice.
