n. சடை நாய், பலவகையில் வேடிக்கையாகக் கத்தரிக்கப்ட்டு ஆர்வத்துடன் வளர்க்கப்படும் நீண்ட சுருள் மயிரினை உடைய சடைநாய் வகை, (வினை.) சடைநாயின் மயிரை அழகுக்காகக் கத்தரித்து ஒழுங்குபடுத்து.
