n. ஈயக்குண்டு, தூக்குநுற் குண்டு, ஆழம்பார்க்கும் நுற்குண்டு, (பெ.) செங்குத்தான, முழுநிலையான,மரப்பந்தாட்டத்தின் பந்திலக்குக் கட்டை வகையில் நேர் மட்டமான, சரிநேரான, (வினை.) தூக்குநுற்குண்டு கொண்டு ஆழம்பார், செங்குத்தாக்கு, காரீயக் கம்மியராகப் பணிபுரி, (வினையடை.) செங்குத்தாக, சரிநுட்பமாக, துல்லியமாக.

Plummet, Plunge.] Defn: A little mass or weight of lead, or the like, attached to a line, and used by builders, etc., to indicate a vertical direction; a plummet; a plumb bob. See Plumb line, below. To sound with a plumb or plummet, as the depth of water; hence, to examine by test; to ascertain the depth, quality, dimension, etc.; to sound; to fathom; to test.
