Pis*ta"ci*a, n. Etym: [NL. See Pistachio.] (Bot.) Defn: The name of a genus of trees, including the tree which bears the pistachio, the Mediterranean mastic tree (Pistacia Lentiscus), and the species (P. Terebinthus) which yields Chian or Cyprus turpentine.
