n. மாத்திரை, குளிகை, ஒப்புக்கொள்ள வேண்டியதொன்று, மென்று விழுங்கவேண்டிய செய்தி, தொல்லைப்படுத்தும் ஆள், பந்து வரிப்பந்தாட்டப் பந்து, பீரங்கிக்குண்டு, (வினை.) மாத்திரைகளை மிகுதியாக உட்கொள்ளச்செய்.

Figuratively, something offensive or nauseous which must be accepted or endured. Udall. Pill beetle (Zoöl.), any small beetle of the genus Byrrhus, having a rounded body, with the head concealed beneath the thorax. -- Pill bug (Zoöl.), any terrestrial isopod of the genus Armadillo, having the habit of rolling itself into a ball when disturbed. Called also pill wood louse.
