-1 n. இத்தாலிய தினைவகையினை உள்ளிட்ட புல்வகைகளின் பேரினம்.-2 n. கிலி, திகில், பீதி, கூட்டத்திற் பரவி ஆட்கொள்ளும் கலவர உணர்ச்சி, அவசரச் செயல்களைத் தூண்டும் திடீர் அச்சம், அச்சத்தால் ஏற்படும் தன்வயமற்ற மருட்சிநிலை, (பெ.) அச்ச வகையில் ஆதாரமற்ற, மட்டுக்கு மிஞ்சிய, (வினை.) திகிலுட்டு, திகிலடை.
