v. ஊசலாடு, இருமுனைகளுக்கிடையே, இங்குமங்கும் அசைவுறு, முன்னும பின்னுமாக ஆடு, கருத்து செயல்நிலை முதலியவற்றுள் இருதிறக் கோடிகளுக்கிடையே தயங்கி ஊசலாடு, (மின்) மின் அலைகள் வகையில் மாறி மாறிப் பாய், கம்பியில்லாத் தந்தியின் அலைவாங்கி வகையில் தவறான கையாளுதலினால் மின்காந்த அலைகளை வௌதவிடு.

To vary or fluctuate between fixed limits; to act or move in a fickle or fluctuating manner; to change repeatedly, back and forth.
