ogee
n. (க-க) கீழிருந்து குழிவு குவிவான இரட்டைவளைவுப் பக்க ஒப்பனைப்பகுதி, காணிவடிவ வரை, பாம்பு வடிவ இரட்டை வளைவு, (பெயரடை) கீழிருந்து குழிவு குவிவாகச் செல்கிற, பாம்புவடிவ இரட்டை வளைவான.

Defn: A molding, the section of which is the form of the letter S, with the convex part above; cyma reversa. See Illust. under Cyma. 2. Hence, any similar figure used for any purpose. Ogee arch (Arch.), a pointed arch, each of the sides of which has the curve of an ogee, that is, has a reversed curve near the apex.
