n. விழி வெண்கோளத்திற் படர்ந்து பார்வைக் கோளாறு உண்டாக்கும் மேகம் போன்ற மறு அல்லது புள்ளி, (வான்.) ஒண்முகிற் படலம், ஒண்மீன் படலம், ஔத ஆவி போலத் தோன்றும் நீணெடுந் தொலை விண்மீன் குழாம்.

Defn: A faint, cloudlike, self-luminous mass of matter situated beyond the solar system among the stars. True nebulæ are gaseous; but very distant star clusters often appear like them in the telescope. 2. (Med.) (a) A white spot or a slight opacity of the cornea. (b) A cloudy appearance in the urine.
